Saidur Rahman: From Village Aspirations to Digital Achievements

Hello, I’m Saidur Rahman, and this is the story of my journey from a small village in Bangladesh to becoming an SEO expert and aspiring digital professional.

I grew up in Birashi, a village in Paikgacha, Khulna. My father, a dedicated farmer, was the only source of income for our family, while my mother, despite being handicapped, managed our home with immense strength. Life took a challenging turn in 2019 when my father was infected with COVID-19. At that time, I was preparing for my SSC exams, but suddenly, we faced a severe financial crisis as my father couldn’t work.

Seeing my family struggle, I knew I had to do something. I started taking on tuition jobs to support us financially. With the little I earned, I managed to save up for a used laptop that cost only $150. This old laptop became my gateway to the digital world and the start of my freelance journey.

Despite the tough times, I focused on my studies and passed my SSC exams in 2021 with a perfect GPA of 5. It was a proud moment for me and my family, and even our local Madrasah celebrated this achievement. On March 2, 2021, I got admitted to a local college in the science group for my HSC studies. However, just a few weeks later, on April 14, my mother suffered a heart attack, bringing another wave of challenges for our family. Yet, I did not give up.

Balancing studies, family responsibilities, and freelancing was tough, but I kept pushing forward. In 2023, I completed my HSC with a GPA of 4.92, and it felt like a significant milestone considering everything we had been through. Now, as a graduate student pursuing Honours in Statistics at the National University of Bangladesh, I am working hard to grow my career in the digital field.

I have always been passionate about technology, so I taught myself web development, SEO, and front-end design. I became an SEO-certified specialist, focusing on optimizing websites in the automotive, financial, and Medicare industries. Today, I build and optimize websites, making them not only look great but also rank higher on search engines.

My journey from a small village in Birashi to where I am now has been filled with challenges, but each step has made me stronger. I am determined to keep learning, improving, and building a better future for myself and my family. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where my passion for the digital world will take me next.
